SHRM publications won three Azbee Awards of Excellence
Alexandria, Va. – The American Society of Business Publication Editors<http://www.asbpe.org/index.htm> (ASBPE) named HR Magazine, the flagship publication of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), to its top 10 list of U.S. business, trade, and association magazines in the over $2 million dollar revenue division.
HR Magazine also appeared on the list in 2003 and 2006.
“The list is one of the most coveted awards in the business-to-business publishing industry,” said SHRM’s Chief Publishing, E-Media and Business Development Officer Gary Rubin. “It is an honor to be named to the top 10 list for the third time.”
In addition, SHRM publications won three other ASBPE Azbee Awards of Excellence. today at the Central-Southeast regional Azbee awards ceremony held today at the National Association of Realtors in Washington, D.C.
The ASBPE annual Azbee Awards of Excellence<http://www.asbpe.org/contest/contest.htm> recognize the best in editorial, design, and online achievement in business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications and digital media.
SHRM’s Conference Daily won a national Gold award in the “On-Site Trade Show Coverage” category for its SHRM 2009 Annual Conference and Exposition coverage, and HR Magazine<http://www.shrm.org/Publications/hrmagazine/Pages/default.aspx> won a national Silver award in the “Most Improved” category for the magazine’s 2009 redesign.
The HR Magazine article “Redirecting Health Coverage” by Robert Grossman won a Bronze regional Azbee Award of Excellence in the “Organization Profile” category.
“The three award wins are great recognition of the hard work and tremendous talent of SHRM’s publications staff,” said Rubin.
